So last night instead of doing homework I wrote a scene of a book I recently started writing (not the murder mystery one, that is on hold until I can think of a way to make it suck less) called, tentatively, "HOLY CRAP I CAN'T SEE SOMEONE'S COVERING MY EYES: A Guide to Not Being Able to See Anything, Ever". More on that later.

In other news, I'm starting to write a little more poetry. The lit mag at my school picked up again so I guess that was inspiration to write some new material for it. So that means NEW MATERIAL FROM ME WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE. My photography is on hold until I can find my camera cord. My drawing is going somewhere, maybe. I'm starting to try to stylize the human form, because it's easier than actually drawing a proper human body and I'm lazy. I'll post some stuff later, maybe.

Also, I might get around to postiing a few short stories I've been writing in English class. No, we don't get to write short stories in English class, I just write them instead of paying any attention to Charles' Dickens Hard Times (which I have nothing against in terms of plot or message, but when an author insists on writing in the accent of a character who is completely impossible to understand, and subsequently proceeds to give this character page-long monologues, I quit caring). The end. Which is what I said when I finally finished the book while I was sick with swine flu. Hurrah! But now an essay looms, and I suck at essays. Especially in-class ones. Honestly, I'm okay when I have actual time to get my ideas down on paper. Otherwise I leave out everything. Also, it would help if I cared about the books we read, but this year has been a disappointment in terms of both books and teacher. More on that when the internet becomes secure enough to badmouth people without risk of it coming back to haunt you.

Anyway, I'm off to go play some Uncharted 2 multiplayer or maybe do some homework. Who knows? I do. It'll be Uncharted 2, because I dislike homework in a way only describable by a large, epic painting on the ceiling of a chapel.
